What is Wildcats?
Wildcats is non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age – see Wildcats.
The focus at Deddington is on developing skills and teamwork to have fun and practise match play. For the 2026-7 season we will provide training for 8 to 10 year old girls in school Years 4 and 5 for the 2026/7 academic year.
Be inspired by the Lionesses!
We are inspired by the success of the Lionesses and other women’s teams. Last season we had a trip to the Emirates Stadium to see Arsenal play West Ham in an exciting Women’s Super League match.
2026/27 season
Sessions are on Fridays from 17.30-18.30 on the All-Weather Court at the Windmill Centre in Deddington from 4 September to 27 November 2026 and again from 5 February to 30 April 2027.
We will be exploring whether to enter a team in the 2027/8 season in the Oxfordshire Girls Football League.
