Seville May 2017

Our 2016/17 Under 13 squad traveled to Seville in the May half term, on a trip organised by Adam Bradley our resident professional coach. Below is the press release from the MV8 Football Academy.
English youth team visits MV8 Football Academy
The U13s youth team from Deddington Town FC in England has visited the MV8 Football Academy for a week long short stay programme.
Accompanied by trip organiser UEFA B Licenced coach Adam Bradley, the 14 strong English squad undertook five mornings of Technical coaching with Massimo Valenziano and the MV8 staff. The team also had the great fortune to spend a morning session with visiting coach Michele Stivaletta, who has coached at Juventus.
The boys from Deddington Town also had plenty of time to soak up the food, culture, sights and the fantastic weather of Seville during their trip. A full programme saw them also taking in the outlet stores, a Real Betis stadium tour and plenty of swimming and sightseeing.
Deddington Town U13s manager Carl Barber said “This has been a truly inspiring week for the boys and me also. The level of coaching has been excellent as were the facilities. Massimo and his team were incredibly attentive and got to know each player individually through the week, providing extremely valuable insights into their football. This will provide me with a great platform to take us into our structured and proactive coaching for next season.”
Commenting on the trip, organiser Adam Bradley stated “This was my first trip to MV8 as the sole organiser and will hopefully be the first of many more to come. The boys have come away with so much to take back to England. It was a joy to see them engaging with this level of coaching and all in the ‘MV8 style’. I have only been back a few days and have already received many comments from parents and players saying how much they enjoyed it and would love to go back!”
“It was a pleasure to have the Deddington squad here,” stated Massimo Valenziano. “I sincerely hope that they continue to improve as much as they did in the short time they were at our Academy. We play a different technical style of football than in England and so they will hopefully return with a great advantage after their time here.”
After such a successful and enjoyable trip, talk has already begun about when the squad might return for more fun in the sun!
